Homecoming week kicks off with a severe thunderstorm and cancelled classes at TAMUC. Classes on Monday, October 21, 2019 have been cancelled, “due to wide spread power outages and substantial tree damage,” read an email sent out to students by the campus operations and safety office.

The schedule of events for the first day of Homecoming have been moved around:
“Homecoming Kick-Off will STILL be held today from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the RSC Conference Rooms.

The T-Shirt Donation Drive will be MOVED to Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the RSC Atrium in conjunction with the Photo Booth featuring Lucky Meet & Greet,” Jeremy Sippel, assistant director of student government association and student organizations, said.

Classes will resume on Tuesday.
