After a rough weekend the No. 2 Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions softball team was swept by Texas A&M University-Kingsville in three games. The Lions lost game one (3-2), game two (10-7), and game 3 (3-1).

This is a very talented softball team that has just hit a lull in the past week or so. I fully expect this team to bounce back and get the bats working again. A solid series this weekend should do the trick.

A&M-Commerce is looking to bounce back this week as the 17-6 (6-3 LSC) Lions will be back home on Friday and Saturday at the John Cain Family Softball Complex to host the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
