The Texas A&M University-Commerce Men’s Basketball team continued their hot start to the season improving their record to 3-0 following a 111-64 over Our Lady of the Lakes University (San Antonio) in the home opener for the Lions.

All 10 players that saw action for the Lions scored. The Lions led by as many as 50 in the contest against the NAIA program.

Tyree Robinson the senior transfer from Youngstown State scored a team high 20 points, going a perfect 9-9 including a couple of highlight dunks throughout the night. In addition to the big night, Robinson also had 11 rebounds and 3 blocks to record a double-double.

Trey Conrod also had a big night for the Lions, recording 19 points on an efficient 7-11 shooting and 8 rebounds. Conrod was also busy on the defensive end recording a team-high four steals.

Reigning Lone Star Conference offensive player of the week Reggie Reid had an off-night, shooting just 4-10 for 9 points, but made up for it dishing out 8 assists to lead the Lions in that category.

The Lions shot 52 percent from the field. The Lions dominated OLLU in the paint scoring 64 points to just 18 in the paint from the Saints.

The Lions will not be back in Commerce until Nov. 29 when they open up LSC play versus Angelo State. The Lions will be at North Texas tonight for an exhibition against the DI before heading to Gunnison, Colo. for a tournament this weekend.
