Duane Allen, lead singer of The Oak Ridge Boys and alumnus of A&M – Commerce, received the Alumni Achievement Award from Delta Tau Delta earlier this morning for the success of his music career.
“Those same teachings from our Delt organization have served me well in The Oak Ridge Boys,” Allen said in his address to the crowd assembled at the Sam Rayburn Student Center. “We practice those values and character traits. We teach all of our employees to do the same and we push work ethic.”
