Kelsey Horton, junior
What’s your opinion on kneeling during the anthem?: “It doesn’t do anything. I don’t disagree with what they are doing. I like the concept, just not during the anthem.”
What are some must do’s in Commerce?: “I would recommend everyone to try Luigi’s if you haven’t already. Luigi’s is an Italian restaurant, and I love it.”
Trey Allen, junior
What’s your opinion on kneeling during the anthem?: “When it was time to kneel, no one wanted to take advantage of the opportunity even after Colin Kaepernick did it. Now that Trump speaks on this subject by calling out every NFL player who takes a knee disrespectful, all of a sudden you want to take a knee! Are you doing it because of the injustice towards colored people or because Trump called you out?”
What are some must do’s in Commerce?: “If you live in Commerce, you have to go to Omega’s. Best restaurant in town!”
