After not being able to capture a win in the two games this past weekend, A&M-Commerce hopes to rebound with their upcoming home games against West Texas A&M, UT Permian Basin, and Arkansas- Fort Worth this weekend.

A&M- Commerce will play West Texas Friday at 5 pm and UT Permian Basin Saturday at 1pm and Arkansas-Fort Smith at 5:30pm. West Texas A&M stands in third in Lone Star Conference with a current record of 5-3 while UT Permian Basin has a current LSC record of 1-7.

The Lions started off this past weekend with a 3-1 loss (25-12, 18-25, 20-25, 27-29) against Eastern New Mexico putting Commerce a ranking below East. New Mexico. A&M-Commerce had 25 errors overall while Eastern New Mexico had 31. Senior Taryn Driver led the Lions with seven kills and three blocks. Junior Sydney Reyes followed with six kills and five blocks. Eastern New Mexico’s senior Lauren Frye led their team with 15 kills and one block.

Traveling to Silver City, New Mexico after their game Friday, A&M- Commerce was defeated by the Mustangs 3-0 (12-25, 16-25, 17-25). Western New Mexico had five errors while the Lions had 21. Driver led the team again with nine kills while sophomore Jasyln Wacker came after with five kills and one block.

Lions have a current LSC record 4-4.
