Brief-Flu Season
The flu is notorious for taking the world by storm and while flu season makes an appearance every year, the timing, duration, and severity is always unpredictable.
That’s why it is important for students to be prepared at all times and helping stop the spread of flu by remembering the 3 C’s.
Stay clean by washing your hands often with soap and water. Avoid touching your face, which can spread the virus.
Cover your cough with a tissue or your elbow. Be sure that both your nose and mouth are concealed.
And contain germs by avoiding people who are sick, and staying home when you are sick. Going to class when you aren’t feeling well will probably do more harm than good for you and those you come in contact with.
Flu symptoms include coughing, chills, fatigue, aches, headache, nausea, and sore throat. If you experience any of these, take action immediately by seeing a doctor, staying home, and getting rest.
