Conversation and Writing Group has been organized through the Academic Success Center to help international students interested in sharing their culture with others, while simultaneously allowing them to practice their conversation and writing.

The Academic Success Center is located in Room 103 of the Gee Library, and provides services for students including helping students prepare for tests and giving tips on budgeting.

While the ASC is available to all students, the Conversation and Writing Group is held mainly for international students.

The group meets Wednesdays 2-4 p.m. in the Hall of Languages lounge. The program holds the dual purpose of letting international students share their culture, while at the same time helping them acclimate to life in the United States.

Texas A&M University-Commerce’s student body represents more than 50 countries each with their own culture and traditions.
