Second student struck by vehicle this week
September 16, 2016
A&M-Commerce student Destiny Morris was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street between the Sam Rayburn Student Center and the New Pride Apartments, this afternoon – making her the second pedestrian struck by a vehicle while on campus this week. Morris posted the following update on Facebook, describing her condition;
“Well, today has been a rough one to say the least. This morning I was walking on campus at TAMUC when a car hit me. I am so very happy to be able to say that I am alright. No broken bones or internal bleeding. No major injuries at all, I walked away with a concussion and some scrapes and bruises. I’ve been discharged from the ER and am heading home. Send some good vibes and prayers my way bc I’m going to be feeling pretty sore over the next few days.”
