The men and women’s cross country teams end their 2015 season at the NCAA South Central Regionals meet with no qualifiers for national.

The men’s team finished 16^th of 23 teams with an average time of 33:02. The South Central Regional champion was Adam State University for the fourth year. All conference and all region Luis “Ricky” Romero finished 17^th individually and was only six place’s shy from receiving a bid to nationals.

The Lions women took 18^th with all conference junior Terra Truitt taking 38^th individually with the time of 22:47.20.

“We didn’t perform how we hoped to, but individual runs were great,” Truitt said.

“We look forward to the upcoming track season where we expect our distance runners to have a greater impact at the conference level than in previous years,” head coach Ross Smithey said.
