After a third place finish in the Lone Star Conference championships, the Lions men and women cross country teams will be in the regional arena Nov. 7 in the South Central Regional meet.

The South Central Regional will bring teams together in Canyon, Texas with goals to qualify for national competition.

The senior duo of Tori Lenz and Mary Hammonds look to keep their chemistry going as they lead the women’s team.

Lenz said, “Our chemistry when we run together is such a success.”

Leading the men is senior Luis “Ricky” Romero.

Romero said, “I’m just ready to go and run.”
