Friendship is magic when de-stressing with ponies

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Counseling Center hosted a DeStress Fest on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in which university students and staff visited four different stations located around campus to learn a variety of stress management techniques and how they can be conducive to improving one’s social, emotional, mental and physical health.

One of the main attractions of the event was a mini petting zoo featuring two miniature horses (located north of the Rayburn Student Center), as part of DeStress Fest’s social health-focused station. Both of the horses were bred and raised by Don and Debbie Daffron of Lil Texas Stars Ranch in Commerce.
