The schedule has been released for the 2015-16 season for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Lion softball team.

The Lions had a 29-24 record to top off their inaugural season last spring and a 20-6 home record.

On Feb. 5, their season will begin at the St. Mary’s Tournament in San Antonio where they will compete with Lubbock Christian, St. Edward’s, Colorado School of Mines and St. Mary’s.

Next, the Lions will see Southwestern Oklahoma State, St. Edward’s, Texas A&M International and Black Hills State at the A&M-Kingsville Tournament, Feb. 12-14.

The Lions will then make a trip to California to face the Academy of Art and Dominican University of California in a doubleheader.

The Lions first home game will be on March 1, against the University of Texas-Permian Basin in a non-conference doubleheader. They will go on to play four more doubleheaders at home.

The Lions regular season will come to a close in Edmond, Okla. against Oklahoma Christian.

The LSC Tournament will begin on April 29.
