The Fall Cub Huddle, scheduled Nov. 13 in the Lions Mane Cafeteria from 5:30-9 p.m. will feature face painting, live music, balloon animals, picture booth, food and photo opportunities with Lucky the Lion.

The event, hosted by the Student Board of Directors by Sedexo, is a time for students and faculty with children to take their kids to dinner night and make all feel included.

“There is not enough events for families on campus,” Danielle Vaughn, member of the Student Board of Directors.

This is the first year for the event and “hopefully there will be a great turn-out so it can continue every year for the children,” Vaughn said. “ I am very excited to be a part of an event that has everyone involved including children of students on campus.”

Student Board of Directors is a liaison between the students and food services. Applications are in the summer and to qualify students must be involved on campus and willing to work with a group of students in a professional manner.

The next event will be a Mothers Day brunch for faculty and staff with children on Nov. 18 and Dec.16, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Faculty, staff and students who do not have a meal plan can purchase a meal at the door for a discounted rate of $6. Children ages 10 and under eat free.
