The Commerce Lady Tigers, coached by Tony Henry, demonstrated their strength of character in a 77-48 loss to the Rains Lady Cats by never quitting on the game, their teammates or themselves.

Jaida Harris led the Lady Tigers with a double-double. She scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while shooting 6 for 8 on free throws. Cadye Shaw added 11 points, three assists, two steals and led the team with a 58% total shooting rating. Keke Reynolds led both teams with 30 minutes of game time.

Commerce was behind 49-17 at the half but a strong 17-9 fourth period showing saw them gain a little ground before the final buzzer of their last game of the regular season.
